2015-16 General Operating Support Kickoff Meeting and Workshop

In preparation for Cuyahoga Arts & Culture’s 2015-16 General Operating Support application, CAC will host a Kickoff Meeting and Workshop to share information about the application process, familiarize applicants with the 2015-16 application, and help give them the tools they’ll need to succeed.

The event will consist of two distinct segments, as detailed below:

8:30 - 9:30 am KICKOFF MEETING: This Kickoff Meeting will provide an overview of the 2015-16 GOS program and timeline, highlight key aspects of the application and program, introduce applicants to the members of the CAC team that will guide them through the process, and provide attendees an opportunity to have their general questions answered.
Who should attend: executive directors, interested board members, grant writers, those who will be involved in the completion of the application, anyone interested in learning about the program at an overview level.

9:45 - 11:30 am WORKSHOP: This informal, interactive working session will dive deeper into the nuts and bolts of the application and process. CAC staff will walk attendees through specific areas of the application, discuss application best practices, highlight applicant resources, and answer specific questions about the process. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a CDP Funder Report peer review, and share tips and ideas with fellow cultural partners.
Who should attend: Staff members who will be directly involved in the crafting of the application, grant writers, financial team members, those on your team who will have a voice in telling the story of your organization, team members interested in the details of the application and process.
